Which CSV columns are required?
Product name, quantity and rate are the core fields. HSN, tax, amount and extra notes are optional.
What header names does the importer accept?
It recognises common alternatives such as product or item for name, quantity or units for qty, and price or unitprice for rate.
What happens if amount is blank?
The editor calculates the line amount from quantity multiplied by rate. You can review or override it afterward.
Can I append CSV rows to existing items?
Yes. Choose Append in the CSV import mode instead of Replace.
Is my uploaded CSV sent to a server?
The current free generator reads the selected CSV in your browser tab. Always avoid adding information you do not want shown on the final invoice.
